General Terms and Conditions​

Please read the payment terms and terms of sale and delivery of our webshop.

1. Basic concepts

Within the meaning of these terms, the Customer is a natural or legal person ordering or paying the service of delivering products of Dubrovnik Republic doo, Ulica Hrvoje Custica 8, 23000 Zadar, by means of the website www-dubrovnik-republic.com.

In case in data about the Customer entered are data about a legal person, then the Customer is considered to be a legal person, and the natural person whose data are entered is considered to be the Customer’s authorized person.

The Customer is considered to be the person ordering and paying the product and the Receiver is considered to be the person to whom the product is delivered, and which differs from the person of the Customer.

2. Personal data and business capacity

By accepting these terms, the Customer states that all provided data concerning the Customer are true and complete, that he/she has business capacity, that he/she is an authorized user of the credit card and that, according to his/her knowledge, there are no hindrances related to ordering and buying Dubrovnik Republic doo products, i.e. for buying by means of the web shop.

In accordance with the Statement on privacy and data protection, Dubrovnik Republic doo collects solely basic data required for the fulfilment of obligations.

3. Purchase in web shop

By selecting an individual product, next to the same displayed are details about it – product name, short description, price, quantity.

By selecting an individual product, the same is inserted in menu “Basket”.

Prices displayed on sites next to individual products are valid for all payment methods.

The product inserted in the “Basket” is bought by clicking the key “Buy”.

By pressing the key “Buy” you are accessing the order form in which you are obliged to enter your personal data. In case the personal data of the customer differ from the personal data of the Receiver, you are obliged, by choosing the quoted option, to indicate exactly the data of the Receiver as well.

The delivery price is not included in the product price. No VAT is included in the product price.

4. Collection of payments/Authorization

All payments shall be performed in HRK (Croatian Kuna). In case of payments with a credit card, immediate bank transfer, the costs of in-payment and/or interbank transactions are not included in the price.

5. The right to terminate the Contract

The customer has the right to terminate the contract in accordance with Article 44 of the Consumer Protection Act.

In case the delivery, for any reason whatsoever, was performed prior to receiving the notification on contract termination, the customer can terminate the contract upon performed payment for packaging and delivery service in the agreed amount of 100,00 HRK with included VAT, and in case the delivery costs exceed the agreed amount, in the amount of delivery costs.

Immediately upon receiving the notification on contract termination, Dubrovnik Republic doo will inform the customer by E-mail that the delivery was already performed and that the customer is obliged to settle the contractual costs of packaging and delivery amounting 100,00 HRK with included VAT, respectively in the amount of delivery costs if they exceed the amount of 100,00 HRK.

In case of the contract being terminated after the delivery of products, the customer is obliged to return the product undamaged and packed in original packaging at his/her own expense.

In case of contract termination with payment by credit card, the customer shall not be debited, respectively the customer shall be debited solely for the part of pre-authorized amount of the order related to the contractual amount of packaging and delivery costs in case the above quoted prerequisites for that are met.

In case of contract termination with payment immediate bank transfer, Dubrovnik Republic doo shall reduce the paid amount and is obliged to return to the customer for the amount of the order in case the above quoted prerequisites for that are met.

6. Product information

Product photos are for illustration purposes only and they must not always and in all details correspond with products which are the subject of the order. Dubrovnik Republic doo emphasizes that the visual identity of products shown on the photo must not correspond with the products appearance in reality, especially taking into consideration the monitor settings on the customer’s PC or mobile device differences in perceptions of colors as the customer sees them on the screen and the like.

In case of the above quoted non-conformity of the product shown on the photo and the delivered product, this is not considered to be a product shortcoming.

7. Product shortcomings

Dubrovnik Republic doo is not liable towards the customer respectively the Receiver for minor scratches on products which occurred as a consequence of shipment of goods by means of delivery service in case the scratches or minor shortcomings do not influence the basic characteristics and the usability of the product.

8. Other conditions

Dubrovnik Republic doo has the right to unilaterally change these sales conditions without prior notice. Dubrovnik Republic doo shall deliver all purchased products in accordance with conditions valid at the moment of concluding the contract.

9. Application of Sales conditions

By using the services of the Dubrovnik Republic web shop you accept Dubrovnik Republic´s payment terms and terms of sale and delivery. If you do not agree with the terms, do not use this website and do not order products by means of the same.

This website contains information about Dubrovnik Republic doo products and it serves as an electronic point of sale – web shop.

Dubrovnik Republic doo is not liable for possible damage which occurs by using this website and by using information from this website for purposes outside the scope of their foreseen purpose.

Orders are considered to be received:

In case of payment by means of a credit card – at the moment when Dubrovnik Republic doo receives the confirmation of preauthorization of the Buyer’s credit card for the amount of the order.

In case of payment by means of e-banking, general payment slip and payment on delivery – at the moment when Dubrovnik Republic receives the order electronically.

At the moment when the order is received, Dubrovnik Republic doo shall electronically via E-mail inform the Buyer that the order is received respectively that the product is ordered.

In case of payment by means of a credit card, the contract is considered to be concluded at the moment when Dubrovnik Republic doo receives the confirmation of preauthorization of the Buyer’s credit card for the amount of the order.

In case of payment by means of e-banking and bank transfer, the contract is considered to be concluded at the moment when Dubrovnik Republic doo receives the confirmation that the amount of the order has been paid.

If the ordered product is not available in our warehouse, Dubrovnik Republic doo shall inform the Buyer that the product is currently not available and shall inform the Buyer about the period of time within which the product will be procurable.

13. Foreign Currencies

All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The amount your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Croatian kuna according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.

14. Confidentiality of user data

Dubrovnik Republic doo. respects the privacy of visitors to our website and shall collect solely personal data such as name, address, phone number or e-mail address of our users when the same submit us the above date voluntarily. We shall use these data in order to respond to individual requests for information and we shall rely on these data in order to better understand the users’ needs and with the goal of upgrading our products and services. 15. Delivery and complaints.

Orders are delivered in the shortest possible time depending on the availability of the desired item. The delivery channel which is used is the post office or delivery for which the buyer bears full delivery costs, and the delivery depends on the distance of residence place and it is most often between 1 and 7 working days. Postage price within Croatia amounts to 25 HRK. Delivery is not charged for deliveries exceeding 598 HRK. Delivery as well as purchase are valid solely for the area of the Republic of Croatia. International deliveries have to be negotiated individually.
